How can i make a call using google talk in ubuntu 9.04?

I used wine to run google talk windows edition , but it didn't work .


I'm using pidgin to text chat .is there any way to make a call ?

Install 'empathy' using synaptic. I am still reading - will get back as there are some who don't get outgoing unless the other user initiates the call. Maybe that is ironed out now. Which version are you using? Jaunty?
