in case we identify the programs we will interested in port number so may the web site of the gmail have the same port of the gmail talk program ...and in the same time the page based on client server connection which can make connection between people as opening chat room in the page

Reply:Its pretty simple, the authentication credentials for both Gtalk and GMail are same; just like yahoo msgnr and mail. However, unlike in yahoo msgr where you have the choice of saving ur chat conversation in ur harddrive, google talk stores it in their servers and also your friends list. So, everytime you login, along with your mail, your gtalk friends list and the conversation history is also retrieved.
