Is Google Talk free for use?how do I make a call?
From what I understand Google Talk is a text based (meaning typing) online chat application. I do not believe they offer any telephone-type calling.

Skype is a much better application and is also free and allows Video conferencing aswell.I like this program very much as it does not slow my PC down..
