How to get Gmail Notifications for incoming emails from certain people on my google talk?

There is a person in my contact list, say xyz@gmail.com. I want to get email notifications for incoming emails from xyz@gmail.com only.


Is it really possible?

I pump my gmail account from Microsoft Outlook where my rules can be used to filter values.
Reply:Yes indeed. When you use Gtalk, the default setting is that you get notifications (popups near taskbar) whenever theres a new mail. Unless you have disabled this option from thE Gtalk settings, it should work.
Reply:I am sorry there is no way to do this. Whatever shows up in your inbox will produce a notification in Gmail notifier or GTalk.
